“Healing is an art. It takes time. It takes practice. It takes love.” -Maza Dohta

This is my philosophy when it comes to therapy; everyone heals at a different rate. I work alongside my clients to aid them in their healing experience. My main focus is to create a safe, calm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable to be their authentic selves. I believe that a strong therapeutic connection creates the foundation for healing to begin.

I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and earned my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in various settings. I have worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals and inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment centers. I have also had the opportunity to work in outpatient counseling centers and in a school-based counseling program. I have gained experience in working with those struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, trauma, stress, and LGBTQ+ issues, to name a few. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, families, and adults work through the stressors of life. I will bring empathy, patience, compassion, and safety to the therapeutic experience. When you are ready to take that first step to healing, I will be there.
